Growing Like Weeds But Even More Beautiful

I wish I could tell you I've been insanely busy and that's why I haven't posted in a really long time.I really don't have an excuse. Sorry is all I've got for an excuse.

So I just marvel at how much my little girls change over night it seems. Just look at the pictures for proof and a sampling of what we've been up to.

Road trippin'
(This particular one was to my Grandpa's funeral. I think I'm done having babies just for the fact that when both my girls were tiny we had a funeral of someone dear to us to attend.)

4th of July Celebrations

Turning 3 months old and full of giggles

Stacking hay with daddy

Napping after rolling over for the first time

Dunking under water for the first time
(She begged and begged dad to just let go of her. Only problem the water was deeper than she is tall. So he showed her what would happen if he let go. Call me a horrible mom, but it was funny to watch. And we'll just say she didn't mind dad helping her swim after that.)

Aimee's first swimming adventure
(She LOVES swimming in the bath tub, so I was all excited to take her swimming. Well we dipped her toes and she screamed bloody murder. Needless to say mom and Aimee kept that chair company instead.)

More trips with dad to work just because we love to be with him

Waiting for MaKatie to finish moving cows with dad on Jay (the horse) for the first time.

Graduated to a supported sitter status

Tried rice cereal for the first time
(Good thing she doesn't know what real food tastes like yet. Oh how she wants to though. The other night I was holding her while eating a bowl of ice cream. Every time the spoon would go by she'd open her mouth like, "Please mom! I'm begging! How come I can't have some?"

Learned to peel peaches and tomatoes

Attended her first (ranch) rodeo

Saw the Cowboy Days Parade
(or as MaKatie calls it... "Grandma Jackson's parade")

Figuring out this getting up on all fours thing and discovering that toys are lots of fun

Getting her ears pierced
(All she wanted for her birthday (besides a princess party and pony party) was pink flower earrings. Her mom was too cheap to pay the $50 for the pink flower ones, so she had to settle for these. When asked if it hurt by a friend she quickly replied, "YES!" She was very brave. Braver than her mom was.)

Started a jazz dance class
(I was feeling pretty sorry for myself the first week because I had to send her with a friend. I started my first day as Activity Girls Leader at the same time. I'm super excited for Tuesday cause it's our first mommy watches day. I can see what she's really learning. According to MaKatie all they do is eat treats.)

Turned 3
(She sure loved her princess cake. Kept climbing up on the stool to look at. Then when she could really have it, she didn't eat it. But I sure thought it was tasty. So glad that I finally figured out it is okay to pay someone else to make it. I don't have to be super mom.)

Rolling all over

Got two teeth, learned to turn herself around in the exersaucer, and can scoot across the living room in about 30 seconds
(I am having a hard time getting the scooting and rolling on camera. She does the most of it when I walk out of the room for a brief moment.)

Oh and she's starting to get stranger anxiety!
Especially with guys, even her Grandpa. Sill girl!

I apologize for any errors or typos. Its 11:00 p.m. and I really don't want to edit my paper. So I think I'm just going to hit publish.
