A little catch up... Easter until Father's Day! Lots of fun!

APRIL, was April seriously the last time I blogged. Talk about falling off the face of the earth. But we have been having fun around here, so what can I say? Maybe I will catch you up through June tonight...
Easter came and went along with an Easter Egg Hunt at the park!

New Easter Dresses from the Easter Bunny! (Mom may love that skirt, but that means she can't. She's only worn it once. Crazy kid! If I'd of known how early some of this "teenage" stuff really starts, I may have had second thoughts about kids. Good thing I didn't really have a clue what I was in for.)

I think I'm in trouble when she gets older. I'm partial, but what a beautiful girl we have!

Being camera shy. The only picture I let my mom get in my Easter dress.

May 25th and we finally have some leaves. We also started a garden this year. Whose grand idea (mine) that was? To start in your husband's busiest season of the year. Tilling a new garden spot is not my favorite thing to do, but I got it done. Go me! Next year, we'll start earlier so he can have the privilege. ;)
Enjoying warm enough weather for shorts finally!

Invested in a double stroller aka "the short bus." I love it! Should have gotten one earlier, you know maybe last year. Oh along with a thing called a baby monitor. I learned that its not for big houses, but if you plug it in and take it outside... mom can get time to herself early in the morning or during nap time. I should have gotten one of those years ago (you know like when MaKatie was born)!

We always love to go with dad to work. Especially anytime April thru June... his crazy busy season. We kind of like to see him every once in awhile during those few months.
Riding horses is a must for this not so little girl of ours.
Celebrating Father's Day! This girl must have some of the Brown genes in her too. This is a favorite at Grandpa Brown's house, and she sure discovered why in a hurry too! Only down side is I now have to share the cake with more than one other person.

For Father's Day, we also announced the coming of baby #3 to our family. The little guy/gal is due January 13. First trimester wasn't bad. Only threw up a handful of times which is a miracle at this house. I forgot how TIRED, you are pregnant. My doctor informs me its baking a human while chasing two more that leaves you that way. Almost 17 weeks now and a daily migraine seems to plague me in the evenings, but I'll take it to throwing up and needing IVs any day. The gender is going to be a secret again this go around. So go ahead and start the bets.
Well hopefully, I can keep the posts coming along more regularly now (that's always my intent)... But until next time! Hope life is treating you all well.

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!

Can you believe our little Aimee is ONE, because I can't. The poor girl has had ear infections that wont go away for the entire month of April. Three antibiotics later, I think its finally getting rid of them. Today's the first day I can get something done without holding her. YAY! for this mom and little girl! On her birthday she seemed to feeling fairly decent, so we'll take that over some of her harder days. With her being so miserable, we didn't invite anyone over but did our own little family party.

We started with a birthday photo shoot in the yard. Look at me, I love to wave! When she gets tired she'll wave at me trying to tell me to put her in the bed.
 As sisters...
 we have a...

 Love/Hate relationship. ;)
I'm one tall, skinny Minnie. Just like my dad!
I'm starting to get a little hair. I have a blonder version than my sister.
Now its nap time at 5:00 pm.
Mom decided to decorate the cake.
No judging... I'm a beginner. Like the first one ever all by myself.
 Decorations were hung :)
 The big moment!
Eating chocolate cake... Aimee's favorite food is anything chocolate.
Her favorite gift was the Birthday Card made by MaKatie.
Did I get spoiled or what?
Enjoying her presents from extended family.
Oh, I suck on this toy better than I've ever sucked on a binkie. Silly girl!
Because my nap didn't start until 5:00, I got to stay up and watch a movie with my mom and dad for their stay at home date. It must be my birthday or something? Or am I just spoiled?

My Dancing Queen

Last fall I put MaKatie in a dance class. She was born two weeks too late to go to school with the other kids her age, so I thought dance since she can't go to preschool. It was just a little social outing for her in the beginning. Well, I have become a full blown dance mom now... competition and all. Would I have ever guessed that I would enjoy being a dance mom... NO! But I do. I love seeing my little big girl do something she loves and progress. When we started... I thought, "What am I wasting my money on! She is so uncoordinated like her mama."  But with an awesome dance teacher, she has improved tons! They preformed at football and basketball half times to practice in front of a crowd. The first time she wouldn't even dance. Then basketball season hit and they would dance for two games in a night. She would look around for the first and dance away for the second game. Now she dances for them all. Competition was held at the USU basketball stadium, and the size of it or amount of people there never bothered her.

Ready for first day of dance
Here's a collection of pictures from the dance season...
Waiting for half time so the team can dance

Waiting for Drill Review to start. Her team was invited by the high school drill team to come to their drill review.

Drill Review- Mashed Potato Dance (Land of a 1000 Dances)
Waiting for our turn to dance. Randolph Cheer and Dance Co. was given the bathrooms above the stadium for their dressing room. MaKatie was always running off to watch the other dances. I had wondered about not doing dance next year, but "we have us a dancer!" (as her dad says) She loves to dance! So we will let her continue to dance. It has been so fun to watch her grow and develop over the year.
